Navigating new beginnings together.
Refugees and asylum seekers are some of the most vulnerable populations in the world. Most have survived circumstances unimaginable to many. After all they have been through to arrive in the U.S., many refugees commonly face additional challenges from the communities in which they seek safety — including racism, prejudice, discrimination, xenophobia, exploitation, and more.
The Fit In Network intends to break down cultural barriers and misconceptions — creating a more welcoming space and home for refugees, and a brighter future for us all.
About
Give me your tired, your poor,
Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free,
The wretched refuse of your teeming shore,
Send these, the homeless, tempest-tossed to me,
I lift my lamp beside the golden door.

Guidance, support, and
friendship
Once paired, the mentor and mentee are able to connect in one-on-one sessions. These meetings may take place in person, over video calls, or via messaging platforms, depending on their preferences and availability. Mentors offer guidance, support, and friendship as the mentee navigates challenges and opportunities.
